They should be back up in approximately .Erroneous poison and bleed damage on character screen
I'm seeing this on all my characters across all leagues, characters, areas:
After about 15 seconds logged into the character, or after the first mouse-click, whichever comes first, the character screen offence tab adds bleed and poison damage stats, whether or not the character has these assigned. When I log in to the character and immediately check the character screen before doing anything else, the offence tab seems to show only what it should be: But after waiting for 15 seconds or taking any action, the offence tab immediately displays bleed and poison damage: I'm playing on a PC, if that makes a difference. Probably easiest to see this on my PoisonBleedTestB character on Delirium SSF HC, since I created it just to figure out what was going on. Last bumped on May 4, 2020, 1:36:44 PM

It was added by GGG in one of the previous league(s) (too lazy to dig the patch-notes).
That's "theoretical damage" which is displayed regardless of anything. Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it. Happiness requires effort. |

Grace period.
All there is to say. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

These things...combined. During grace period, all your damage is removed (I've tried to check my tooltip dps on skills as soon as I enter and it's not there). Probably something to keep people from doing damage while in grace period (charging BV before entering or something?).
And yeah, it's just showing how much damage you'd do IF you poisoned or bled an enemy. If you have 0 chance to do so, you can ignore those numbers. |

Thank you for the replies. I understand what is going on now, but to be honest I don't really see the rationale for having it, or why it's not at least clearly labeled as "theoretical" or "potential" or "hypothetical" or literally anything that would make it clear in the tab just what it really means.
Edit: Just realized that wording sounded kind of arrogant. Should have said: general UX design principle is that information should be displayed to the user in the least surprising and most intuitive way possible. Displaying character stats that are not actually applicable to my character is surprising behavior, at least to me. Of course, if it weren't surprising to me, I wouldn't be posting about it, now would I? :) Last edited by Aervanath#4742 on May 4, 2020, 2:24:14 PM
