Exalted orbs - Please explain

Hi

Couple of questions :)

Ive never used Exalted Orb before and was just wondering if anyone would care to explain alittle for me.

Items can have 6 mods right..?

I have this atm:

So this axe has 4 mods.
-Can i use 2x Exalted on it and gain 2 new random mods?
-Will any of the 4 mods already there be affencted?
-When the item has 6mods, will it still work and overwrite a random mod?

Also with items like this:

-The "base" mod that is framed (15%rarity) is from the white amu?

And this item:

-Why does it seem it has 7 mods?

Exalted Orb

Enchants a rare item with a new random property. Right click this item then left click a rare item to apply it. Rare items can have up to six random properties.

Mods

Rare items can have up to six random properties.

Special Mods

There are some mods that apply two enchants but count as one mod.
I.e:
Beetle's
Local Physical Damage Reduction Rating +%
Base Stun Recovery +%

Build-in Mod

Some items have build-in mods to be special for their kind of itemtype.
I.E:
Ring with HP
Ring with MP
Ring with Rarity

4. Yes. It is an implicit mod and does not count towards the 6 mods a rare item can get.

5. Some mods give multiple bonusses, in this case: +40% enery shield and +13% block and stun recovery
