Best use of Trash to Treasure for challenge completion in Delirium?

Don't people often use it on a leather belt in Nemesis map to try to get HH?
Btw, last season was my first and I got Trash to Treasure, didn't know what it was, wiki doesn't tell you shit about it btw, so I thought it worked like level 1 altar of sacrifice in Temple of Atzoatl, I used it on random item and sold the expected random junk unique to vendor. :( Last edited by Harvey_Rabbit#6069 on Apr 29, 2020, 7:25:27 PM

Sorry if the OP was confusing. I'm only using it to advance the challenge. HH, Call of the Brotherhood, Shavs etc. won't do that.
Still thinking Cortex is the way to go (if it is chanceable). Otherwise just a shaped whatever. |

" It took me a long time to do that challenge. I chance/scour'd I dunno how many things. Jumped between maps, jewels, strong boxes. I did it so much, that when the chance hit, I actually jumped IRL. Like a jump scare in a movie, lol. I eventually got a jewel chanced. I cant tell you how long it took but I had to make quite a few scour purchases. But what do you all do with your exalts in Standard League at the end of each challenge league? I mean, why are you all going through the motions every 3 months to make lots of exalts if they just sit and rot in Standard? Most who always play challenge leagues don't even play a standard build. Where's the value in that?

buy a shaper base and use it , at least a few unique item can sold the same or a bit more than the price of the prophecy itself.
Not sure it can register to the league challenge or not as it always bugged. (Also, DON'T try HH. " Cortex isn't in the drop tables so that is out (map boss only, like an elder guardian map) There really isn't an option with trash to treasure where you don't lose half your ex that i can see (and get the challenge) best i could figure was Cospri's Malice using a Shaper jeweled foil (seems to be 6ex?) - shaper poet's pen carved wand might also be good... if there is a whale out there looking for it anyways. Those 2 weapons seem to have the best Eternity Shroud synergy imo and therefore using Shaper bases makes them the best trash to treasure uses. What did you try to chance in the past? Some items are easy, some are not. " I've been doing three things: 1. Using all my scours to chance a jewel. 2. Occasionally going to Act 1 and buying any white weapons with a unique chanceable version. This is super cheap and saves on scours 3. Chancing any strongbox in a map. Some people may have gotten their challenge in a few 100 chance orbs. Others will need 1000s or more. Just how probability works. |

My jewel came pretty quick, but right now I need a weapon/strongbox/map.
I mean the jewel was within 5, but I've burned a ton on weapons/strongboxes/maps. The last time, and pretty much anytime I've actually chanced uniques (other than that jewel) it took scour/chance in rapid succession. I can definitely buy the scours, I just don't want to convert the currency. At the same time, I've probably wasted a lot more by only doing mini scour/chance sessions, as I can't remember a single time since I've started (other than that jewel this league) where I picked up a normal item and it became a unique that first try. Edit - I'm pretty sure I've chanced a box once, but I've also seen more unique strongboxes spawn this league than I have any other. Yep, totally over league play. For weapon, just buy a white basic wand in act 1 vendor.
I hit it after 15 chance orbs. (Lifesprig) For strongbox, have 2 people doing it. 1 spam scour, other spam chance. It takes a minute at most. Save the trash to treasure or sell it. Not worth using it on anything this league I think. Last edited by IrishRoyal#4223 on Apr 30, 2020, 8:11:45 PM
