Can physical explosion damage (Crusader mod) be converted to fire?

Can the physical damage from the mod "Enemies you Kill Explode, dealing 3% of their Life as Physical Damage" available in body armours with Crusader influence be converted to fire damage or other elemental damage through the conventional means (i.e. Physical to Fire conversion from Chieftain, Avatar of Fire, conversion mod in gloves, conversion mod in staves etc)?

I'm making a fire damage build and wondering if converting some or all physical damage to fire would help scale the damage of the explosion for faster clear.

No.
I cant see any reasons why it should not work

I've heard reports of someone with headhunter using brutality in their main skill get shattering explosions -which means it gained physical damage added as cold- so most likely yes conversion should work fine.
I haven't been able to test it in game yet but I also don't see any reason why it shouldn't work... Anyone from GGG or white poster willing to help confirm, please?
At one point I believe corpse explosion damage was considered your own secondary damage. Unless that has changed, anything that works with secondary damage should work. So generic modifiers including generic conversion would be ok but anything that specifies spell, attack, or DoT damage should not work.
