Hall of grandmaster random?

Yesterday i cleared it deathless till only Zami was alive which i coudlnt kill.
Now i just bought the staff to kill her with scorching ray and got absolutely demolished in hall 1.

there was a essence drain golem wo killed mit all 6 times in a second.
3 flasks werent enough to heal me.

So are the mobs random? I bet his dude wouldve killed me yesterday since i didnt change anything.
I know my chaos res is negative thats not the point.

ok, started a new run.
again, deathless till the last one.
this time Spiderqueen demi

i googled and all i found was the same: scorching ray & frostbomb
so i bought it


but it doest do shit for me. not a single HP was shredded
even if 2 gems are low level it should helped at least a little bit
but she seems 100% immun

Hm he is block capped so I believe you need to use it a few times (frost bomb + duration) cos he probably blocked it.
As I remember I was using https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Balefire
and it went fine.

If you have hit based skill you can use BCR gem eventually
