[0.10.5] Shift and Shuffle Templar(Update in the Future)

I always had an eye on converted Damage, because of the benefits from all kind of increased damage. With the upcoming patch, we will get a new melee gem that will basically turn a single target Skill into a AoE Skill. This is like the GMP for Melee Caracters. And i expect a huge downside of this Gem. My predictions are:

Melee Splash
-200% Manaincrease
-30% less Damage or 100% on Target and 70% on surrounding Enemies

Even with this downside you will deal great damage. Our signature Skill will be Glacial Hammer.

Damage Calculation

Lets assume deal ~143 damage, that is reduced by 30% and so we have 100 damage left at Level 61.
- 56% increased physical Damage from passive Nodes and Strength
- 75% Physical damage converted to Cold (Hirmsorrow, Glacial Hammer)
- 25% Physical damage converted to Fire (Ebony Shild)
- 23% added cold damage from physical (Hatred)
- 35% added fire damage physical (added Fire Damage)
- 91% increased Elemental Damage
- 20% increased from impliced Mace Mod

1. Step: increased Physical


100*1,56 = 156 physical Damage

2. Step: Cold damage
Converted:
156*0,75*2,01 = 235 Cold damage

Added:
156*0,23*2,01 = 71 Damage

Total cold Damage: 306 Cold Damage

3. Step: Fire damage
Converted:
156*0,25*2,01= 78 fire Damage

Added:
156*0,35*2,01= 110 fire Damage

Total fire Damage: 188 fire Damage

Final Damage

100 physical Damage -> 494 Elemental Damage

Thats almost five times of the orginal Damage!

I dont know if Mana Leech is necessary. If not i would recommend Cold to Fire. At Lv 61 it turns 68% Cold into Fire. That would mean:

Cold Damage:
306*(1-0,68) = 98 Cold Damage

Total: 98 Cold Damage

Fire Damage:
306*0,68*2,01 = 418 Fire Damage+

Total: 606 Fire Damage

Final Damage:
100 physical Damage -> 704 Elemental Damage!

Thats seven time more then the orginal Damage. And if it would profit from AoE increase Nodes we would have 20% increased Damage (847 Damage).

Last Words
As you can see we dont need that much of increased Damage nodes, because of the reuse value of each nodes. That practically left us a lot of free nodes to invest in other parts of the Tree. We can go to resolute Technique or Crit/Accuracy, Defensive Stats/HP and Inner Force. I will update this Guide after we have the final numbers.
