How do I know if my build is good for end game? (I'm new)

Okay so I've been playing POE for about about a week now and I'm currently on level 57, an Elementalist. I heard that if your build is like bad then it won't be viable for end game and I don't feel like starting over rn. How do I know if my skill tree passives and equipment are going to work?

You don't, unless you copy a known working build.
There is a build planner called Path of Building, google it. It may help you estimating your chance of being end game viable.

You can always reset all your passive tree by spending regret points. 1 for each passive point and 5 for each ascendancy point.

You can buy regrets from other players. Ratios vary but you can try looking up https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/exchange/Delirium

At lvl 57 you'd spend less than 80 c respeccing your tree and ascendancy if you're not satisfied with your planned build or ascendancy choice. Keep in mind you don't have to respec your whole tree - just the parts you're not happy with.

Quick way to make chaos is farming alterations. You can sell those for chaos and then buy regrets if you wish to respec.

Also as Mikrotherion pointed out you can either follow a known build or check a build specialising in the same field as you do and comparing trees to see if your planned path is similar.

To be honest,I wouldn't worry about end game if you've only been playing a week. And as for starting over, once you get more experience with the game you will get better at leveling and see that getting to lvl 57 usually takes someone a few hours to do easily. Aside from that if you're at 57 there's no way to tell if it's viable because from 57 to 90 your character will be drastically different than it is now with better gear, more skills, etc.
