failed to initialise renderer subsystem

tryed to log in today and this happens right away before i reach the log in screen. i get a client.exe-Bad image error C:/windows/system32/aticfx32.dll is either not designed on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. i hit ok about 50 times and then the Failed to initialise renderer subsystem error.
anyone have any ideas i have uninstalled and re-installed the game and patched it.

Try Uninstalling. Deleting the Original install file and install folder. Re-download.

Try using the Right-Click, Run As Admin also.

But, how about putting up your system specs? SPECCY by piriform works great and then screenshot and post like this:

GPU: ATI HD4670 1GB
HD: Maxtor 20GB - OS - Seagate 500GB - Games / Storage / PageFile
Network / ISP: Wired / Cox Cable
tryed removing all folders etc and tryed running as admin no luck. and i have no clue how to upload the image of my specs...

I gotta ask, you rebooted your system lately, yes?

Which driver version from ATI are you using and have you installed the Hotfix with it?

Is that card a Crossfire? If so, in the CCC disable the Crossfire and try again.

The odd thing, and maybe its because I still use a 32bit OS, is that your OS is 64bit and its addressing the 32bit driver.

I use Photobucket, as it is free and has less issues than Imageshack.

Then youll have (lower case the IMG to img):

Try removing your development_config file in Program Files/My Games/Path of Exile and see if this helps!

I just installed the game and have not been able to get past the "failed to initialise renderer subsystem". What are my options? None of the suggestions on this page have helped. I just want to play!
Sorry I'm running an older computer:
Pentium 4 3GHz
32 bit OS WIN 7 Pro
2.0 GB RAM
Nvidea GeForce FX
Mactheknife, your video card is too old. It doesn't support Shader Model 3.0 and will not handle the game. Your only option is to upgrade your hardware.
