Piety’s Rage Debuff

I’ve been looking all over for an answer, but can’t seem to find one. I’m trying to do the challenge “Defeat Piety the Empyrean in Shrine Map while you are affected by Piety’s Rage”. I can’t seem to find out which ability or form she uses that applies this status effect. Probably doesn’t help that I’m playing on console and there’s no clear indicator of which buff is which. The icons don’t really give much indication and the wiki doesn’t have any info on Piety’s move set.

Last time I checked, when you fight her when she can teleport into the different elements, in fire form, she debuffs you with each hit.

This is a stacking damage debuff, and its called Piety's Rage.

So, just wait till she is in that form, let her hit you until you see the debuff.

Cool! I’ll try it out. Might be a little difficult since I’m running an evasion/dodge build, but it shouldn’t be that bad now that I have an idea of what to look for. Thanks!

worth noting, debuff clears when she leaves the form, which is where the challenge comes in.

Yeah, you can say that! Nothing like delivering the killing blow just as she reverts. Timing it with bleed is not easy...
