presence of chayula and block

if i block a hit that would have stunned me, i will get "stunned" due to the blocking animation
presence of chayula prevents me from being stunned

if i block a stunning hit while using presence of chayula, will i still get the blocking stun?

right now im playing low life and sometimes it feels like im being stunned, or at least, animation locked into something and i cant atk
so im trying to figure out if this might be the reason or if theres another reason

there in no block animation or anything like that if you have stun avoidance

perhaps you are getting frozen? or experiencing latency issues while playing in lockstep mode?
