Favorite map slot cannot unlock

Hi, I completed all non-unique maps in Tirn's End. I cannot select favorites map. I attached screenshots.

You did not complete all maps. Socket 4 Watchstones and have a look again...

Text does not say anything wachtstones or all maps. Just a region + and region's non unique maps. Why?! I will try your advice.

The thing is watchstones "reveal" the actual "maps in a region" in gameplay terms.
So you will have to socket the 4 watchstones, find which maps they are, and complete them. Else check the wiki. |

I don't blame anyone for anything. I played many tcg games. I know there are more rule than text say, erratas, manifestos, another word for rules/text how work in game or something like that.
But I would be really happy, if a site explain how work all rules exactly(!) and which things/combos does not work and the site would be updated. Gamepedia contains texts, descriptions and usally does not say anything how work that exatcly, how do that, how don't do that. I spent lot of time searching asking how can do that thing, how works things now. These is very confusing. Where is the really knowledge database with crystal clear rules/mechanics/equation/information? And why not exist in one site or even better in one section of this site and you can reach them easily? I thought the same thing, that it was a bug. Nothing is said about watch stones. but at least now I know. Thanks.

" Huh, same here, I was going to fill a bug report before accidentally finding this thread... Why isn't it clearly stated, how the new Atlas works? There is way too much to guess/try/google... It's nice and complex, just as we like, but also vague and unclear in it's current state. It needs at least a good description in-game (and maaaaaybe some GUI rework). I'm not sure what I am missing here but I have done all the maps but favorites are still locked for Valdo's rest. I have unlocked favorites for other areas so not sure what the problem is.
Is it because I have not done vaal temple? It does not highlight when I hover over the favorite map requirement.  |
