Dual Strike does not work with new "Hollow Palm" keystone

Decided I wanted to fiddle around with this new keystone only to find out that the skill I wanted to use it with doesn't actually work, even though the description says nothing about actually having a weapon equipped.

Exact wording on the skill gem:
"
"Attacks with both weapons, dealing the damage of both in one strike. Dual wield only. Does not work with wands."

While unarmed aren't technically weapons (to my knowledge), it doesn't specify that I can't use this while unarmed and only need to be dual wielding (which the Hollow Palm Technique enables). Is this a bug, intentional, or did the team not think of using Dual Strike with this new keystone?

"Unarmed" is not "a weapon". Nor "both weapons"

"Dual wield" in this case applies for passive skill nodes (which you can benefit from while having Hollow Palm), not for Dual Strike secondary requirement.

"Infernal Blow" works without the need of a weapon while saying "with your weapon", though it also specifies Unarmed, but Dual Strike's descriptive text does not exclude unarmed.

Infernal Blow Skill Description
"
Attacks with your weapon, applying a charged debuff to enemies hit by your strike, and an uncharged debuff to any other enemies hit. Upon reaching 6 charges, expiring, or the enemy's death, the charged debuff is removed, and it deals damage to that and other nearby enemies. Enemies with either debuff explode when they die, damaging other nearby enemies. Damage from this explosion cannot be reflected. Requires a Sword, Axe, Mace, Sceptre, Staff or Unarmed.

And if you're wondering: Yes, you do get the debuff from unarmed attacks despite it saying "with your weapon". It might be the fact that GGG has to code some extra stuff in to make it functionally work like it does with Infernal Blow, but the evidence is still there.

Another item that has "counts as dual wielding" is Wings of Entropy and Dual Strike does work with it, so it may simply just be that Dual Strike isn't coded to work with Unarmed even though that the only parameter on the skill is that it requires dual wielding (as seen in the skill gem description).

At the very least, it should be clarified in the text of Dual Strike (ie "You must have a weapon equipped/Doesn't work with unarmed") or Hollow Palm Technique (ie "Unarmed does not count as a weapon") if Dual Strike isn't meant to be a usable skill with unarmed despite the fact that it should work based on facts I provided.

Edit: Was talking to a friend about how unbelievably disappointing this was for me, turns out GGG literally just didn't want to give it an animation so it doesn't work. So it would work but GGG dodged it because XD. Went from disappointed to abundantly mad.

Another case of "HAHA, CLASSIC, GGG" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
