if you have 100% chance to impale, is war banner better than dread?

using an impaler with iron reflexes and realized the only thing i am getting from my dread banner is extra impale effect. which is nice, but im wondering if the increased phys damage taken from war banner (and extra accuracy) might be a better choice. kinda hard to compare though. any wisdom would be appreciated

depends on how many impale stacks you can get. war is better until you get 9 stacks then dread is better

im at 8 now. so i guess i'll use war banner until/if i manage to get an eye.
how do you calculate that? never quite wrapped my head around how to figure actual impale dps. especially with the -phys res red, -phys res red to impale, and extra impale effects. |

does that fork thing take into consideration increased impale effect and reduced phys res against impales?
