What speaks against having the option to "appear offline" ?!

Considering how much GGG supports streamers, it is surprising that they do not have this already.
I guess the popular people would appreciate to appear offline to avoid DMs when playing off stream. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Sometimes people just want to be alone without others knowing. |

I sometimes drop all contact to certain groups of people and do not want to interact with them for a while, especially if they know how to contact me through other means than ingame. Many people respect your privacy if they assume that you are busy irl, but might message you if they see you online (even if dnd).
A display as offline mode would help me to play PoE without worrying about being bothered. |
