So is running the Temple .. worse?

ive seem multiple people, who i think know the game better than i do, claim that the Temple got even worse (unrewarding?) with this update. Im struggling to figure out, why they would say that. Any ideas? Last bumped on Mar 12, 2020, 11:43:35 AM

just bullshit, if their guess is right they gonna say something like "I know it, i told you", or some random shit like that
but if they wrong they gonna just disappear quietly. |

Based on the patch notes and the current state of delve, it's very likely. Remember when forgotten wealth was at least a chaos? It's down to a transmute now.
Also, if you look at all the changes to the temple only prefix/suffixes, that's probably what they mean more than anything. Yep, totally over league play.

It depends what you were running temple for, they basically made it... more like a regular map I guess.
Some of those changes were necessary but i don't understand the point of making the temple better then nerfing all the temple rewards, I can add quantity to a map by using an alch on it why go through a very drawn out stage to do a temple? But i'm probably biased as i was looking forward to doing some pseudo crafting with lots of temple bases but instead they got nerfed lol, so it kinda removes the point. |

Well, temple mods are mostly just way better than their normal counter parts, making a plain t1 or t2 life roll look bad. So i guess a nerf was justified. Even though .. who the hell cares anymore about 2% life or 3% ES (from 10% ES! HA).. what the hell.
Then again this goes against actually looting and finding good rares, which was already hard enough. So yea, more mobs, map mods and trash loot. Yay .. Also double implicit unqiue Belts from the omnitec, but the stat % increases are mutually exclusive now, sigh. |

The temple was made to be much more like a very very large, free, normal map now. The biggest nerf was to temple item mods, most of which were just completely gutted and are now more or less irrelevant (some are still good early league though, such as the physical local weapon damage + added chaos mod; the local phys wasn't nerfed at all).
Personally I'm looking forward to running it with much higher average pack size than before. " A 60% allres and 18% dex/int belt from the temple could still be pretty insane though. Res and stats both take up suffixes on rares so this gives HoWA more room for cheap stat stacking elsewhere. Not necessarily endgame gear but early-league HoWA maybe.
