Epilogue quests missing

Hello all,

I've searched for this bug (?) but only found the missing portal after Kitava kill, not this what I'm experiencing.

I've killed Kitava and I'm in Oriath. I see The Elderslayers and The Crusader quests on the quests list and nothing more. I've run through every location around Oriath, I've found the Someone's Desk that was green but no item jumped out of it. I've killed the guards in one of the location, one is left being green but he won't talk to me. The best thing: monsters don't attack me! :D They only respond to my attacks.

I've tried to come back to other cities but all quests lists are empty. I've also killed Kitava for the second time and it didn't help (luckily, it didn't spoil my resistances for the second time).

The map device does not work, obviously, so I seem to be stuck.

This is my second character, I run maps on the first one, I have them in the stash, if it relates by any chance.

Any ideas what this could be?

So you see these two on the active side and nothing on the completed side of your Epilogue/Oriath quests?

That sounds bugged. You should see the key quests completed by your first character (or this one) in order to have those active. That would be things like:
An End to Hunger (= kill Kitava)
Picking Up the Pieces (= working with Kirac to find and rebuild the map device)
Chasing a Dream (= finding Zana in the atlas)

The map device is in your hideout but nothing happens when you load a map?
Where is Kirac? When you talk to him, he offers nothing useful?
What about Zana?

I think so (for now I didn't run the other character in case we have a real bug to trace and I don't really remember how it looks like with the closed quests.

This is how it looks for Oriath.

This is Oriath Docsk (the rest of towns is the same, just empty):

You just made me realize something.
I've just entered the hideout and the map device there works just fine also for this character.
For the first character I've also lost the possibility of using the map device in the laboratory to the West in Oriath but I thought something changed between the leagues because I haven't played for some months. But I was using the device in the hideout and ignored it.
I just thought that with the second character I need to redo all the Oriath quests too and that will enable the map device in the laboratory for the second character. Maybe that's not the case for multiple characters and it's done only once, with the first character? Nevertheless, the non attacking monsters, green quest things that do nothing and empty quests lists look buggy anyway. What do you think?

Oh and answering the rest of the question after running this first map...

Both Kirac and Zana are in the hideout and in Oriath. They display the informatory dialogues. When I ask Kirac to show Atlas I see the atlas of the first character.

I've also met Zana in the Lab but it didn't start any quest, just some informatory greeting dialogue.

edit2:
OK the azurite mine is also visible as for the first player so to run low levels I need to go to the sides because going deeper from the entrance is for "free" (using the path lit by the first character).
Is this how the game is designed? I actually don't like it... Unless the idea is that players anyway farm with the best character and all the items are exchangeable, that would make sense...

It sounds like you're actually fine. On specifics...

Quest tracking only shows your active quests for that zone, so what you are seeing is ok. If you click on any waypoint and choose an act (choose Epilogue) you can see both your active and completed quests for that act. The latter are greyed out but you can click them to see what they are.

In 3.9 the map device in the lab has been destroyed - you need to use the one in your hideout, which it sounds like is working ok.

All your characters in the same league share one common instance of the atlas, along with a common stash, a common mine, common master missions, etc. Note that standard vs. challenge, trade vs SSF, and HC vs SC are all considered different leagues. For characters in the same league, you can even start a map with one character, log out and in with another character, and finish the map with your second character - as the portals will still be up until they time out.

You need sulphite to do anything in the mine. The yellow bullseyes are places you have been (or just the free mine shaft in the beginning) and are connected by solid yellow lines. You want to go someplace new by clicking on any location that is adjacent to a bullseye. If you mouse over the new location before you click, a dashed yellow line will appear and you can see the cost in sulphite to travel there. You find sulphite by finding Niko and doing his map missions.

You can go deeper in the mine or stay at one level by going sideways. That way you can take any level character into the mine.

Your atlas will be reset on Friday. If you have made almost no progress, that may not matter. If you have completed a bunch of maps with your other character, just keep a couple of your old maps at the highest tier you currently have - and DON'T convert them to 3.10. When the atlas is reset on Friday, you can run one of them to auto complete your atlas up to that level so you can keep going.

Cheers

Well, I don't see the closed ones, as visible on the screenshots. :) Or I'm looking in a wrong place.

OK this is clear. Although I still think something is wrong with monsters not attacking me in Epilogue and quest items appearing green but being inactive.

Now that's quite a hint! I was always (well, once actually) transforming all my maps and loosing all my atlas thinking that's the idea of the game. Thanks!
Your completed quests are at the bottom of the map box that opens when you click on a waypoint. Just select an act and you'll see all the active and complete quests for that act. But it's on the bottom of that map box, NOT in the quest area on the right of your screen.

On monsters not attacking... Yes, the epilogue Oriath was a bit strange the second time I went through it as I recall.

To auto complete your new atlas using a legacy map, be sure to "upgrade" the map correctly based on it's tier. For a white tier map, you will need to run a magic version of the map. For yellow, a rare version, and for red, a rare and corrupted version.

So if you want to complete your atlas through tier 5, for example, you should run a legacy tier 6 map that has been alched to make it rare.
Thanks for that, all seems to be clear, as for the issues.

As for the maps, to me, this seems to be too complicated to pay attention to it and have fun. Practically, the end game for me is rather boring, becomes a chore of farming currency over and over again on those maps...

What I did now was I ran my old character and some old tier 7 unique map, I've finished it and indeed a ton of messages of map completeness appeared. I also think it lit things on the atlas, only I don't understand (and don't care anymore, after it changed for the first time) what I'm seeing.

Anyways, I think I'll be good enough with the maps, thanks! :)
