Advanced mod descriptions should not be an option.

They should be enabled by default! New and returning players shouldn't need to be told to enable such a QoL option that's not even mentioned in the help panel. If you spend any amount of time in global chat people are having to be told to turn it on on a nearly daily basis.

Please remove this as an option and enable it as the normal info you get when you hold alt while hovering over items and include a description in the help panel of what it displays.

OMG, thanks for posting this, I didn't notice this option before and it makes things so much nicer and more understandable to have the advanced descriptions. The most amazing thing is that map info such as if maps has been completed before or if atlas objective has been completed ---- this map info is gated behind the "advanced mod descriptions" option, making it far more tedious to check map completion info for those of us who did not have this option selected.

The description in the options does not indicate how important this option is it says the option applies "when viewing reminder text" which I'm not ever sure what that means, but many players like me probably assume that they aren't that worried about "reminder text" that pops up and don't realize this is crucial to seeing full info about virtually all items and maps (and who knows what else??).

Ilvl, tiers of every mod, what they belong to if there's multiple effects (ex. Guatelitzi), and it describes the effects of special mods like things that cause Sapping or allocates passives.

people have asked for less (just to put Ilevel on item) for years and GGG has not done it. GGG are the worst if it comes to QoL features.

They are great at responding but their QoL features are amlost always either missing, not thought through properly or badly implemented and need revisiting.

I also can't give them credit for being good at thinking of possible QoL features. The vast majority of such improvements were suggested by players.

I'm not bashing GGG. I play this game for 7 years now and it's the best ARPG I have ever played (so far), but they clearly suck at implementing QoL features or having the farsight to understand what players could possibly need.

yes, the option is a toggle for the Alt behaviour.
