"we have updated the Fragment Stash Tab to hold these new Metamorph Scarabs"

But feel free to put blight oils inside your ***, amaright ?

:/

( it makes sense to not have organs in special tabs as they don't stack, just in case somebody would want to start that strawman : don't ).
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Not just oils... But (Almost) every single league we're introduced to a myriad of new stackable currency and/or fragments, that DON'T ever get specialized tab space for it during the league... And if it EVER does, isn't until much later:

  • June 2016 - 2.3.0/Prophecy League: introduced silver coins. Silver coins not added to the currency tab until September. (2.4.0, 3 months late) Prophecies, in spite of technically being plausible to stack, still have no decent storage method. (It's been 44 months)

  • September 2016 - 2.4.0/Essence League: 105 separate currencies added. We don't get a (separately-purchased) tab for them until 2.5.0. (December, 3 months later)

  • December 2016 - 2.5.0/Breach League: introduced breach splinters/stones, as well as blessings. Fragment tab introduced with space for splinters/stones in 3.1.3; (January 2018: 13 months later) we still don't have dedicated spaces for blessings. (It's been about 39 months)

  • March 2017 - 2.6.0/Legacy League: introduced reliquary keys. Never given space in fragment tab.

  • August 2017 - 3.0.0/Harbinger League: introduced 16 new currencies: 6 new orbs, and 10 new shards. Slots added for Annuls & the 4 new shards for existing currencies, but Horizons took until June 2019 (3.7.2, 22 months late) the other orbs took until September 2019 (3.8.0, 25 months late) and we STILL don't have slots for 4 of the types of shard. (It's been 2½ years)

  • June 2018 - 3.3.0/Incursion League: introduced 9 new types of currency through the vials. These have never been given dedicated slots anywhere.

  • August 2018 - 3.4.0/Delve League: SOCKETABLE currency, and 33 new types of currency... Of which none start out stackable. We don't get any fixes (stackability OR a tab) for about a year.

  • December 2018 - 3.5.0/Betrayal League: Introduces 36 new types of map fragment. We don't get slots for them in our fragment tab until AFTER the league ends. (3 months later)

  • June 2019 - 3.7.0/Legion League: 5 new currencies (splinters) and 5 new map fragments (emblems) that, again, don't get their own slots in the fragment tab until AFTER the league is over. We also get 27 types of an entirely new item type (incubators) that are all given iLvls even though half of them yield items without iLvls, and the others don't really need 'em any more than (iLvl-less) divination cards. We still get no specialized space for these.

  • September 2019 - 3.8.0/Blight League: We get 10 new types of stackable currency (oils) and... No space for them. Especially bad when these are things that we can rapidly gather a rather large amount of. (and "just upgrade them" is a slap in the face given values are almost entirely flat until you pass black oils)

  • December 2019 - 3.9.0/Metamorph League: 7 new types of currency (catalysts) and... Apparently not even an announcement yet of adding space for them to the currency tab?

  • Also December 2019 - Conquerers of the Atlas: 5 new types of orb. (Conquerer's Exalted Orbs, Orb of Awakening) No space made for them.

  • March 2020 - 4.10.0/Delirium League: Adds Orbs of Delirium, as well as new splinter/fragments. (Simulacrum) You can bet that anyone who bought currency/fragment tabs will NOT have any benefit from that in playing Delirium league!

By my count, there's 35 currency types, and 2 fragment types, that do not have dedicated tab space for them. Plus 27 incubators, and who-knows-how-many prophecies.

For this, we get... 14 "wildcard" slots that are woefully inadequate to store even a portion of these. The currency tab (which, may I remind you, we paid money to get) is far from keeping up with helping us manage all the new gimmick currencies that come in almost every single league.

It really does feel like an insult to those of us players that have gone to support the game, that features we paid money for... Are delivered to us half-baked.

You aren't entitled to have your tabs upgraded indefinitely. They could've left them exactly like they were when you bought them and it would've been completely fair.

It woudln't.

PoE is a game constantly evolving, and we were literally shown the first currency tab with "there is a slot for each type of currency".

The "Improvement to the currency stash tab" anouncement also says the exact same thing :
"there is a slot for each type of currency" ( which was not completely true as eternal orbs didn't have their slot actually ).

PS : I know that many white knights are good to throw fallacious or nonsensical statements here and there, so I underlined something important here, just in case ...

They can add a section for organs, that works same as map stash.

They surely could, but it would probably needs its own tab, as it isn't simple stackable items, you have rarity tiers and mods.

That's why I didn't mention stuff like essences either, I'm focusing on currency since this is about the currency tab.

A really useful heuristic is that if your sentence starts with these words, you should stop writing it. You're probably wrong, and even if you're not, the person you're talking to will never care.
