Delirium - Another LAG AF 0.5 FPS league?

Well, basically this fog is something to be concerned about.

I think if I've seen correctly the devs in the trailer even use dynamic resolution feature and even then it seems to be stuttering a little...

Prepare to annihilate your GPU's? (hopefully I'm wrong)

Potential another league skip:D

Who knows? Maybe they're fixing the framerate problem the way Turok did.

(They're not, it's gonna play like mud.)
Furthermore, the Trade Manifesto delenda est.

Bone Mommy did nothing wrong. I want to join the Syndicate.
There was a post on Reddit, I think it was Bex, which stated that the fog used in Delirium was developed for PoE 2.0 and is very low-resource asset. So there is a hope the game will not turn into complete slugfest the moment you enter delirium portal. However, considering GGG is "improving" performance of ground effects for good 4 years and they still tank game FPS anytime you get that map mod, I will believe what Bex said when I play it on my computer.
Hope Delirium goes well and it doesn't tax too much of my GPU/processor.

Also hope mirror/portal don't crash my game like Tane did at the start of Metamorph.

Thanks for response, didn't know about Reddit post DUH. (god**** reddit)

Eh, they said a lot of things are not GPU intensive yet slowly this game becomes a screen clusterf*ck and performance goes down.

They told that shadows are also not a feature for example that lowers FPS by a lot, yet somehow I don't believe them especially in conjunction with all other "low cost" features and 100 mobs on screen with shadows.

THE MAIN THING THAT BEX DIDN'T TELL IS THAT THIS FEATURE DOESN'T HAVE ANY IMPACT ON YOUR GPU. She only told that it has "low cost" which again is a very subjective understanding. Maybe if you are on 1080ti or something then yea 3 fps loss is not that big of a deal.

So to sum it all up it will have performance impact, the only question is how much...

It is so f*cking hilarious actually how people ask GGG to refrain from extra screen clutter and useless graphical additions that murder your GPU and FPS yet they still do that.

Is it so hard to make on/off option for such features? Are we so dumb to not realize that we enter a mirror or portal or whatever and the delirium encounter starts?

Breach+Blight 200mobs+Delirium+Shadows+Headhunter+Party

I think only breach+del+shadows(which are forced) might be already facepalm.

I say GG :D Let's see.

100 crashes in 8 hours

Need more brains, exile?
fuck fest like wolcen quality lol
Actually PoE is not GPU intensive, it's the CPU that's being rapped by the game.

The league is not even started that people already are complaining.

GGG stated it will use POE 2.0 engine with the new code. That new code is using GPU functions that are not used in the old graphic engine to remove some pressure on the CPU. Moreover, the devs stated that POE 2.0 technology will make a better use of the multi cores (aka this is the code made by GGG that is used to generate the flashy colors you see on your monitor).

Moreover, a $100 US currency graphic card can run POE with no issue with some settings tuned down. For fun last week I pulled out my old computer (2004) from the attic with an ATI graphic card. I downgraded the game graphics quality to the lowest and ran the game in 1024x768. Guess what? It worked!...kinda. I had to remove Windows XP to install Windows 10 9What a pain in the butt it was...) and install DirectX. I strongly doubt your computer setup is older than the one I tried.

..And why do I try to explain to a Metamorph 3 challenges player (Highest in the last 5 leagues was 13!!!) with his highest toon level being level 90?.... Did you ever make it to Tier 10 maps?
We about to get an unique experience of playing a "March League During 2.0 Development".
I cross all my fingers and meekly hope that the mist render will eat two cores of my CPU at most.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess
