TIL Baran is gay, but...
" https://poedb.tw/us/article.php?cn=NPCTalk&an=Baran%27s+Journal+II I find it strange that GGG added this lore to the game, but removed the similar lore showing Jun is lesbian (she has a crush on Zana). Sure Sirus also fell for Zana, but we don't have any* proof she felt the same. And even if she did, that doesn't mean Jun can't long for her. Seems like contradictory narrative choices by GGG. Were they just worried about giving Zana too many admirers, thereby lending narrative weight to what we can all quite plainly see anyway i.e. that Zana is ******* hot? Reminds me of when they removed the lore pertaining to Maligaro and Raulo (the guy who would become Fidelitas) showing they were more than just master and assistant. And that decision didn't even seem to have any rationale for it. *Al-Hezmin speculates that she does, but Zana herself says nothing more than that they "grew close". Sounds like the guy thinking Zana might be evil was on to something too. I've seen nothing implying that they lost their minds after killing Elder, a good amount of stuff implying they were still sane though.
Sounds like Zana went insane and is and acting like everyone else did/will to justify whatever she's doing. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

Landren isn't necessarily a dude's handle. And I thought Baran and Zana did the horizontal leapslam.

Jun's ship might have just foundered on a coincidence of player timing.
Pre-Conquerors: --We meet Jun in act 9 and invite to HO. --She looks over at Helena: bleach blonde, fiftyish, leathery face from years of hard drinking and chain smoking, been likely "passed around" a lot in her years in the Blackguard barracks. That creature probably has a wider bore than most field cannons. Pass-a-dena. --She looks in the other direction and sees Alva. Cute, in a baby caiman kind of way. If it's not nailed down, it's for sale to the highest bidder. I bet she's smuggled any number of priceless Vaal cultural treasures out of safekeeping and into the antiquities/thaumaturgy market in her hidden compartment. just what Jun needs in her life, another Janus sniffing around the Djinn legacy. --Zana joins our HO and grants us free use of a map device. And hey, she's not half bad looking. Educated, independent, street-smart, ethical, wholesome and fit, thanks to regular workouts with the Aurumvorax. Except she has daddy issues...hmm. Maybe if I let the syndicate romp through the atlas, we can at least be fighting side by side. Post-Conquerors: --We meet Jun blah blah blah --No Zana until we run into her randomly by total happenstance Although there is no reason not to re-activate the Jun dialogue at this point. Hm. Maybe you're right. That sucks if true. Although if you ask me, shipping anyone with anyone else in PoE is bad, because there can be only one ending to any romance. There are no healthy relationships in PoE. They are all exploitative, abusive, and end gruesomely. @Pri3st: it's pretty clear that if you're a fixture at the Oriath courts, you're a templar and you're male. This does not preclude Baran going both ways. ~Insert all the AC/DC jokes you like here~ [19:36]#Mirror_stacking_clown: try smoke ganja every day for 10 years and do memory game
