Out of Sulphite. What now?

After not delving for 1 year i suddenly felt in love with it.
Smooth leveling, no spike damage, lots of maps and currency.
By accident i even got the 6 link recipe.
Thats the way i wanted to go for lvl 100.

And obv i got a lot of Nikos favors in that year.
So what could go wrong?

But oh no!

After delving for just 1 week im already out of Sulphite and Master Missions.

Running one of nikos favored maps per day would take years.
and would cost a shitload of excalts if i assume 1 level will need at least 10 sulphite scarab.

so whats my line now? i dont have tons of exalts :(

and how tf are people reaching depht 6.000?

Play maps with Betrayal-missions for Jun. Put Cameria into Intervention. He will finally reward you with Sulphite Scarabs.

As a side effect of playing maps you will meet Niko from time to time. He has a 10 % chance to spawn on maps.

Sooner or later you will have enough Sulphite again to go on delving.

Delvers use Sulphite Scarab. Preferably Rusted Sulphite Scarab, quality T16 map to 20% with 2 Sacrifice and you can yeild upto 5k of Sulphite per map in return.

Or use prophecy "A master seek help"(Niko).

No need to chase for Niko mission if your out. You can fill up quicker this way.

good tip. did not thought about that.
but the scarab is expensive.
35c for 5k sulphite, resulting in 3-5 routes.
thats 35c every 15-20 minutes. summs up easy to 200-300c an evening.
hard if not impossible to make that profitable.

Your probably looking at Gilded Sulphite Scarabs.

There are 3 types: Rusted, Polished, and Gilded. Rust is around 10-15c each as of now. The other 2 will not yeild you much more for the additinal cost.

If you want to delve, you will need to invest. No one makes it to 6k dept by using free Niko missions in a league duration. If you have friends that are filling up, you can party up with them. Otherwise the only feasible way to sustain your cost of delving is to make more in return.

The "Deep Delvers" are some of the wealthiest players in game. It's not cheap maintaining both the sulphite and the gearing quality required.

Also, there's plenty of spike damage, you just have to get deep enough.
Deep delvers typically have a lot of deaths because the incoming damage gets so high - it's not exactly a thing for HC.

They also nerfed plenty down there, aside from severely reduced drops (forgotten wealth went from chaos+ to as low as a single transmute) you can no longer farm the same level 83 path you've already cleared for xp. Anytime I was fairly close to a next level I used to run a relatively safe path again.

In the original delve league, sulphite was so hard to come by that most resorted to farming quarry in act 9. When that option was taken away map drops were only slightly improved initially, but have since gotten better scaling up with map tier.
