Question trying to get -15 mana cost of skill using fossils

at the top of the item where the name is. look to the left/right side.

my chest piece has the green hunter squiggles.

every item with influence has icons there, including double influenced items.

Influenced items have little icons in the upper-left and right of the box. For Hunter-influenced items, the icon is of green "fingers". On the trade page, the Miscellaneous group lets you search for influenced items, and also shows you what all the icons look like. If you want Life, Armour, AND the -mana cost modifier, you can use resonators with:

* Pristine and Serrated fossils, and hope for an empty prefix to craft %increased Armour
* Just Serrated fossils, and hope it rolls +Life, %Life, and +Armour or %Armour

In any case, if you want (numerical) Armour on your body armour, I wouldn't use a Colosseum Plate, which is a low-level base with only 491 base Armour. Glorious Plate is the highest with 776 Armour, while Astral Plate has only 711 but also has an implicit granting up to +12% Elemental resistances. Buy a six-link one of those rather than sinking currency into a mediocre base.

wow, thanks this is helping a lot. I will look for an 6 link astral plate with elder influence on the market when I have more currency so I have the resistance. In the mean time I will look to farm some fossil.

the 6link astral base is about 3-4 ex right now. ive been thinking about getting another to try for the -15 and %crit mods.


and make sure you get one that is at least item level 85. you need this for the highest tier %life (and you need ilvl 84 for the high tier attack crit mod)

and not mirrored or corrupted, because those cant be modified. there's a bunch of those floating around.
