Blood Trail in Upper Prison to Warden's Chamber Scrubbed.

First of all, i apologize if i sound angry, but this really got to me.

A couple weeks back, i made a thread about Jun's lesbian conversation about Zana being removed. I was really disappointed by that. Then with the bosses being buffed in a game where i've never reached the Shaper, and Shrapnel Ballista (the build i went with) being kind of clunky, i thought i'll take a break for a couple weeks and come back with a new character.

Fast forward to today, i made a new character and it was going pretty well until i entered the Upper Prison and noticed that the blood trail leading to the Warden's Chamber is gone. I'm not sure if it was already gone for the previous character and thought it was a graphical glitch back then or if it's a relatively new development. But i sure did notice it this time since i was playing the game with knowledge that censorship is on-going.

It makes me think though. These are things that i noticed. Are there other things being changed or removed that i didn't notice?

It also colors my perception of POE 2.0. Where previously i was excited thinking it was a continuation of the story, possibly an exploration of Innocence's journey to the south. Then i realized it was not a sequel but a reboot. And now - i have a sneaking suspicion that the whole POE 2.0 is an attempt at sanitizing the game in huge amounts.

This sneaking suspicion hit me while i was going through a new instance of Upper Prison to double check that the blood trail was indeed gone. And the monsters in Upper Prison - skeletons. Skeletons! Skeleton pictures were censored in Magic the Gathering cards for a certain country. Now i'm pretty convinced that there will not be any skeletons in POE 2.0.

For me, the blood trail had a very big effect on the atmosphere and tone of the game.

And it's gone.

The hallways are now squeaky clean. Someone needs to update the wiki on Upper Prison now; "Beyond Piety is a trail of blood leading to the Warden's Chambers and the Brutus, Lord Incarcerator boss fight." Scrub it clean too!

Deeply disappointed.

I recall Charan telling me that for some reason the Chinese are against Skeletons, Ghosts and blood in video games and movies.
So, with Tencent owning GGG this seems to fit right in.

noticed the blood trail was missing as well was annoying because normally because of that walk straight to it now i walked the wrong way a few times :")

said this to my guildies but they said it's still there... well it ain't.

would be nice but ehh more important things to fix xD just want to know their reason to delete such a small yet useful feature xd
