Where can I find the chat logs (got scammed) [playing through Steam]

Hello,

I have just noticed that yesterday I got scammed with Atziri, so now I am trying to find the logs to see who sold me the Mirror instead of Reflection for 20ex.
I am doing this in order to somehow prevent this from happening to others.

I am quite new to the game, been playing for about a month now, but I don't appreciate this kind of behavior among the community. It got me pretty disappointed.

since you're new, i'll give you a tip about how the trading works.

you put an item or currency,
the other side puts items or currency.
you don't just hover what they put with the mouse,
you actually READ what items they put.
if you done READING, and came to the conclusion that the item you just read is similar to what you wanted to purchase,
only then you click on ok.
otherwise, you click on cancel.
cancel stops the trade in the middle.
therefore, reading is an essential part of the transaction.

just so you'll know in the future. you may ask yourself now "why didn't i read".

you look for your client.txt file unless it was a Korean account because then there isn't anything in the logs.

Then the procedure for this is that you send all your proof directly to GGG support (screenshots, chat logs and so on.).

Would you mind sharing some clarity on where I could find the client.txt file?
(Hence me pointing out at the name of the topic being that I am using Steam). I don't believe it was Korean, though.

Mine is located in *Drive*:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\logs. That sucker is almost 1GB is size, but then again I've been playing forever. Good luck but don't expect anything to happen, but at least you can get the person flagged. Slow the trade down from now on.

You can just make a copy of the file, rename the copy, clear the client.txt by deleting its content and save the cleared file afterwards.

You still got a reflection, so you had 40 exalts then?

has played the game for a month and has a lvl 90 with 300 map boss kills but has managed to accumulate 20ex lost in a scam, 20ex for another Atziri's Reflection, 6l chest with expensive corruption worth another 20ex, a bunch of lvl 5 awakened gems and 21/20 gems he couldn't have possibly levelled himself and so on

RMT doesn't get much more blatantly obvious than this

Heh I was wondering about the "being new to the game" and having 20ex.

Anyone else coming back here just hoping for OP's response of, "Oh, well I dropped a mirror at level 4 and sold it for 7 mirrors, then some magic happened and it become 30 mirrors. I'm just playing the game normally guys."
