Publish Path of Exile 2 System Requirements.
Dear GGG Developers, customer support or whoever could be interesed:
You not updated system requirements of path of exile since 2013 (LOL). As you announced a major update to the game "Path of exile 2", I urge you to publish a fresh-updated minimum and recomended system requirements. My gaming computer is broken since 2016 :) (Motherboard meltdown after being killed in game, thats called Ultra-Hardcore XD). If I buy a new one when enough savings ^^, I wish to be able to play this game I liked a lot in FULL PERFORMANCE. Also, please consider a full Linux/Vulkan-api support so windows 10 is a computer resource leecher. Thanks in advance. Last bumped on Jan 31, 2020, 3:34:47 PM

If they polish the PoE2 release as well as the recent league starts .... they won't even know their requirements honestly, they don't test their game enough and definitely not with enough different setups so ...
" It seems to require steam though unfortunately ... SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Probably Nvidia SLI or AMD Crossfire setup for next gen top tier GPUs required for full performance in party.

" 2x1080 is barely enough for solo at 2840x2160 with minimal detail. I think you are too optimistic. Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.

" I mean...that's a resolution between 1440p and 4k, on a last-gen mid-range card. Also, don't think SLI is helping at all. I can't remember the last game where SLI actually functioned properly (and sometimes causes worse performance). I run POE on a 2080TI at 1440p and still get sub-60 frame drops in really insane areas (think: legion pops). Honestly, it's an engine issue more than anything, and if 4.0 doesn't include a massive engine overhaul, I don't know if there's any hope of smooth gameplay ever again. |

i would love to see poe on linux, but I learned recently that most problems come with nvidia cards not co-operating with Linux in general. Unless, you got alternative gpu.
Linux stand alone poe would be amazing! In general, I think a lot in poe gpu wise is too much. I like dark themes but it's getting too flashy. From the way things are now. I think that you will need a really goood rig, even now to run this game. SSD is a must, so is a strong gpu & multicore cpu. My best advise: just wait for better parts. Most new pc parts are comming in the next generation that are double in power and half in price. Last edited by Niiyos#4521 on Jan 31, 2020, 3:17:39 PM

I'd say 4 2080 Ti's in quad SLI, and two threadrippers should be a good starting point.
We can work from there "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019 "It looks like we broke something with 3.10.0. We don't know what it is yet." - Bex, March 16th, 2020 Last edited by girng#7675 on Jan 31, 2020, 3:35:00 PM
