Commander of Darkness note dosen't work

i got curious about this and tested it myself in Standard.
It seems to be bugged in kind of a Display bug, because it does apply the ERes but after taking off the node the Eres still stays the same and it just changes after switching the instance.

This is not the first post about this, I tested it on the occasion.
Firstly it is as people have been saying not tied to auras, so changing auras doesn't change resists at all. Secondly it will activate immediately when you pick it, but you need to change instance to make it go away if you unspec it.
