How awakener lvl affects Sirus drops?

You'd have to have someone willing to run 100 T0 awakeners and 100 T4 awakeners to compare to Grimro's data set. Good luck finding someone to do that. It's not even worth it for a streamer to do that.

SlipperyJim is the only one crazy enough to do that test lol.

"The Awakener has been decreased to level 81 from 84 at Awakening levels 1 to 5, increasing by one for each additional Awakening level. He is still level 84 at Awakening level 8, and this only affects the item levels of his drops."

So either one statement is simply wrong OR Sirus is not considered to be a Conqueror, right?

What I *think* GGG was trying to say with that "and this only affects the item levels of his drops" was "The fact we made Sirus of a lower level does not mean his drop pool has changed". One could draw a comparison with Rigwald from Talisman: his moveset at LV50 were the same as the LV83 version, but his drop pool was indeed spefically gated from his level. Same goes with the Elder fight: a T1 Elder was the same T15 Elder in term of fight mechanic, but only T6+ could drop a Watcher's Eye (originally).

I don't think, instead, we have to take it as a "lv81 Sirus is just like lv84 Sirus" because there will be obvious differences like Exp gained from his killing and his life pool

So,
Is a statement wrong? Maybe.
Sirus is not a Conqueror for the Awakening Level bonus? Maybe.
There is so little official statements about it, and we can only come to so much conclusions by merely using logic, common sense and English grammar analysis. Until some devoted Sirus farmer does not start screaming "FOR SCIENCE!", all we can do is dance with shades of doubts.

Disclaimer: Of course my statements and my reasonings could be totally wrong, and I do not wish to force it on anyone. I apologize in advance if they could be felt/read like that.
Actually, after thinking about it again, I guess the 3.9.2 changes line probably only concerns the patch itself, stating that by making the fight easier at Awakening lvls 1-7 you dont have to be afraid to get less loot.
Or to be more precisely it should read like: ... you dont have to be afraid to get less loot in addition to the "less loot" you nevertheless get when doing non-lvl8 due to the overall design of Awakening lvls.

Additionally, what sense would it make to have a stronger lvl8 Sirus without actual benefits attached to it?

My conclusion is (and was) that Sirus' loot somehow increses/improves by rising Awakening lvl. The question still would be HOW ...

EDIT:
@Maxtrux: You basically posted the same while I was writing this post ;).

Haha! Actually, it's quite a relief for me to hear it :D

But, yes. Having a higher level does not change inherently a drop pool. Either Awakening level actually makes it better or there is something else at work here
He is the last boss of the conqueror patch sure he is count as conqueror lul!
if been doing awakening level 1-4 Sirus fight. it and feel like awakening level also affect the amount of influence items he drop. the awakening level 1 fights dropped 1-2 items and 3 and 4 ones dropped 2-4.
If also asked someone to do 2 A8 fight for me. and both fight i got 2 uniques instead of one and im not to sure on amounts but it feel like it was 4+ influence items.
Both times a waystone and a armor piece dropped.
GGG often make typo, add "change" that not went live, not document actual change in Patch note. Don't take it very seriously.

in 3.9 player has long speculated that highest awakeneer level can drop the saviour , which did not drop in lower level
