Loreweave with new influences

So before i embark on this completely pointless endeavor, could anybody confirm or deny whether loreweave even can be influenced by the new influences?

" That's just the background. You can chance elder bases for uniques and do that also, but you don't get elder mods or anything. Perhaps I don't know what you are trying to do? i saw a shavronnes armor with 2 influences so its possible to do it with a influenced base.

" i am aware of the new influence bases giving influence uniques, but loreweave is unique in that it doesnt really have a single base that can be influenced, instead it takes the influence from 60 different rings, which all need to match for the influence to apply to loreweave. " There are atleast some bonuses that are based on your items having spesifig influence(currently only shaper and elder) so having influence on a unique can matter for thinks other then cosmetics too "An it harm none, do what you will"

" To my knowledge this is not correct. If unique items can be influced and have shaper/ elder / elderslayer mods, that is news to me. Can you provide some examples if so. I did a quick check and was unable to find any update regarding unique items taking on influence prefixes or suffixes. If I'm wrong, I'm happy to admit it.
