Cast while channeling - cannot roll caster mods ?

I'v got +3 to all fire spells skill gem on my eclipse staff, now I'm looking for the cwc prefix aswell, I'v imprint it and now whant to slam in the cwc prefix, will i minimize the possible rolls and have better chance to hit cwc if I use the Cannot roll caster mods ? (Its only 5 blessed)

Cant seem to find any information about cast while channeling, if it's a caster modifer or attack modifer ?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's neither. That is based on nothing other than the observation that there are many more mod types that don't logically fit in either bucket. CwC is one of those; both attack-based builds and spell-based builds use it regularly.

I honestly don’t know if the meta craft would block it or not, but the support gem holds a spell tag.
