Righteous Fire Effective Area/Radius shrinks to nothing (bug?)

As title says, my Righteous fire sometimes spontaneously shrinks to basically 0 size after certain fights.

After the fight is over it doesn't regain it's original area. Recasting the skill through switching areas returns it to normal. At first I thought it was just the visual effect disappearing, but there’s no damage where it used to be.

Vaal Righteous Fire keeps its size. See attached screenshots.
