The Aul fight is extremely interesting
But does he have to be hidden this hard? I finally found and killed one yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. The fight itself and its mechanics were super interesting and fun to learn (it took me a few tries at depth 350). After killing him, it really felt like an accomplishment.
I never had this kind of feeling after beating the conquerors or sirus. But knowing i will prob not get to him again anytime soon is some kind of bummer. I am not talking about the amulet, much more about the fight itself. Why would you hide something this good for most of the playerbase? Last bumped on Jan 15, 2020, 12:20:51 AM

I haven't even found a primeval ruin since I started playing in Betrayal.
I'm only delving the bare minimum anymore simply because it's boring af and it takes forever to find anything good most of the time. If there'd be a much better chance to find the damn bosses down there, that would at least be some motivation... |

Truth.
I love the Aul fight, but I didn't even see him once in Delve league. Had to track him down in Betrayal to see what the fuss was about XD |

I haven't seen him since Delve league I think, and it was a brutal fight ( it had turbo, it makes everything much harder to dodge ).
I actually found primeval ruins yesterday, around depth 260 maybe ... I just remember that the modes in there would mean guarranteed rip so I'm didn't bother getting close to it, I already have the recipe in permanent league so screw that. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
