Awakened cast on critical strike - still not working properly after the update, PLS FIX GGG!!!

Ok i don't post here often, but this time i have to..
So im running CoC discharge, i got 20% cooldown recovery speed on my belt,
what that means i should be able to proc discharge 8 times per sec if i have 8
attacks per sec which works flawlessly..
now i decided to pick up awakened coc gem and lvled it to 5 even managed to corrupt it to lvl 6..
Ok now i got 0.10 cooldown on discharge, time to get some more attack speed right?
i got new dagger with higher aps, also replaced one jewel to get some more aps
OK so now i got 9.5 attacks per second lets test it. i know how 10 beats per sec sound im a musician..
So im maping and it works fine until i get to the boss, im sudenly procing 4-5 times a sec.. i tried many combinations and every time same outcome, which leads me to believe the cd recovery on gem is bugged since now i obviously have too high attack speed and my every second hit is procing discharge..
Pls GGG look in to it, this was a very stressful experience for me.
