Solaris lorica copper plate: Chaos Damage still bypasses ES

Dear GGG,

I have Solaris lorica copper plate combined with The devouring Diadem Necromancer Circlet. Iam also using Mind over matter.
So i have energy shield on my mana and a part of the damage dealt to me should go off the energy shield fully first but the chaos damage is still bypassing my energy shield partly so this is bugged since i wear Solaris lorica copper.

Maybe poison still bypass it and that is bugged or is that as intended?
Maybe the combo of these items or skill is bugged i dont know but it doesnt seem to work properly.

Can you guys look into this?

mobs do all sort of damage. phys ele. it all comes thru es. theres no mob who do only 1 type of damage.

mobs affected by culling strike can insta kill u if u have super lower x% of real HP life (red color)

A lot of the chaos projectiles are half physical half chaos damage.

Since you have Eldritch Battery from the Devouring Diadem, Energy shield is protecting your mana not your life.
So using mind over matter only 30% of the incoming damage will actually go to your energy shield. All damage to life will be dealt directly since there is no energy shield over it, protecting it.
This is by design.

MoM should not come into effect until you lose all of your energy shield if you're wearing a Solaris Lorica or Shavs, since MoM does not protect ES. If you are taking life or mana damage before your ES runs out, I think its a bug.

Thats the thing, you have no energy shield on your life.
It's on your mana while wearing the devouring diadem.
Solaris lorica or not, you won't take any damage on the shield, so it does not have to bypass anything to deal damage to your life.

i dont mean life i mean it goes behind the energy shield which should protect the mana.. first it should take away all the energy shield and after that the mana.

Not really, 30 % should be taken of my mana which it does.
Because is use Diadem my mana is protected by energy shield so 30% of the damage should first hit the energy shield until it is depleted. After that it should hit the mana it self.

In the meanwhile the other 70% will hit my life ofcourse but thats not the problem.
The problem is that some damage goes directly to my mana. It bypasses my energyshield.
To my knowledge only chaos damage could bypass energy shield which i prevented with Solaris Lorica but it isn't always working properly.

Iam using mind over matter..

exactly! You get my point.
This is inconsistent sometimes it actually does bypass the energy shield :(
