Weird. If I use that tree instead of yours with your PoB build, dps / totem goes from ~824k to ~912k (at 116 points each, Shaman's Dominion on amulet). And more totems, too? (more dex)

Am I doing something wrong?

That's because my pob uses specific items for MY build, like Lioneyes Fall, Transcendent Flesh, etc. If i use a different tree i would use different items as well, and would gain more dps as well. I also have Ancestral Bond for +1 totem.

From your answer, it would seem that you think that I had more dps and more totems with your skilltree?

That is not the case, however. I copied your PoB build, and then, I changed the tree, and with the new tree, using your current items and skills, I had more dps and more life, and more totems.

I was asking if I was doing something wrong, because you say the new tree is less dps, but PoB says the new tree is more dps. So maybe I am doing something in PoB? But the only thing I did was change the skilltree, and anointment on amulet!

Other tree has less crit chance at 116 points, but can take the node "Assassination" and then has almost the same crit chance.

EDIT:

New tree does not have "Rain of Splinters", so it also does not have "32% reduced totem damage". But even with Rain of Splinters, it has more damage.

Last 4 points can be used for life, "Finesse" (ranger node), "Retribution" (templar node), "Fury Bolts" (duelist node), "Cloth and Chain" (no damage, but more resistances, duelist node), or "Fangs of Frost" (duelist / ranger node), or + Frenzy charges.

Also, try seeing if the "Pure Talent" jewel is better than one of the other jewels you are using. +25 to all attributes is strong!

If Maraketh 6624 is really good, don't take "Path of the Warrior" (node at scion life cluster). I only take it because with Fluid Motion it is +20 dexterity. Use the points somewhere else, then.

Also try "Sign of Purpose" Ascendancy with a brand instead of "Divine Guidance" - Sign of purpose is ~20% more damage! (PoB doesn't show it)

Any reason why Watchtower cannot be anointed? It's the only keystone I've noticed which you aren't able to anoint and it's a shame seeing as how great it looks.

New nodes added in 3.9 like Panopticon, Surveillance, Burning Brutality, Watchtowers cannot be anointed. It looks like there is no oil combinations left (they used all combinations in 3.8).
