Low iLv Warstaff getting a high iLv mod bug

Earlier today a friend and I were crafting a iLv 52 Warstaff, and got a iLv 80 T1 "Gain (21–26)% of Lightning Damage as Extra Chaos Damage" mod.

Searched in trade with the mod and found nothing below iLv 80, which means it IS a iLv 80 mod for sure.

To be more specific, the Warstaff had these mods before I hit the bugged mod:
Prefixes:
1. Minions deal 105% increased Damage
Minions have 5% chance to deal Double Damage
2. +62 to maximum Mana(crafted)
3. Empty
Suffixes:
1. 12% increased Cold Damage
2. Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers(crafted)
3. Cannot roll Attack Modifiers(crafted)

and we hit the bugged mod using a Farric Wolf Alpha recipe.(removing Cannot roll Attack Modifiers mod)

Anyone? I'd appreciate any help/reply about the bug.

Maybe the mod level is determined by the level of the beasts used in the craft?
