Once people learn this fight they'll come back and say it's too easy.

" It is actually very easy. Much easier than UE for example. However the bugs, and the ridiculous storm tracking make it painful. Once this is corrected it should be fine. I think GGG did a nice job making this boss accessible to most folks. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

As soon as "leap slam getting stuck in maze walls" bug is fixed, this fight won't even be shaper level hard.

" It's not gonna be an easy fight. As it is now it's quite Build dependant too. @Stodderkonge

" The problem with its learning curve is the investment needed to do one run. If it was made a bit more accessible there would be less initial frustration as people are trying to learn the fight. What you are saying isnt incorrect but the initial frustration from these fights is understandable. |

" i just did my 1st attempt. the mechanics of the fight, at least to the last phase, are very easy. storms aside. i actually got him to the last phase, but i didn't see it because i lost all my portals to the storms at that point. i didn't realize he creates so many. im not sure how you're supposed to kite one around without getting trapped by the others. i think a helpful thing would be to add a mini-map icon for the storms, so you can kinda see where they are hanging out off screen. i died 3 times running into a storm not even knowing it was basically right there, while trying to kite another storm around. i can't complain though. first attempt. i'll get practicing with the storms and try to figure it out better. |

" If you don't fuck up and he doesn't bug out, he only ever spawns 3. One at each phase transition. The correct way of dealing with it is actually unintuitive. After you pop his first 25% you run downwards out of range of the storm chasing you. Then you edge closer to just out of range and wait for his shadow to pop up in the top right of your screen, which means he has slowly moved out of his own storm that he just created (but the storm hasn't moved). Then you quickly run to the egde of the storm underneath him and "tag" him (trigger the dialogue). The storm will immediately stop moving and he'll create the arena, pushing the storm away. If you cut it close enough you can repeat this two more times to fight his last phase in the middle with a clear path perpendicular to down from the entrance should you die. Yes, this is stupid. But it works. Here's a video of someone doing it. Notice his behavior after p1 and p2. https://youtu.be/HExDbeladb8 Edging after p2 to the stairs is optional but safer, as he writes. |

oh okay i just didn't wait long enough.
i went up to see if i could proc him and ended up triggering the storm to follow me. then its a cluster |

" Just got to the last phase without losing any portals (blink arrow does wonders in those storms). Lost all portals in the last phase. In the videos people dont seem to be taking damage at all, i kept getting one shot by his lasers which seems to be unavoidable (as i have over 60% dodge and it kept hitting over and over again) Also he is pretty much 60% of the time invulnareble, casting stuff and teleporting all over the place which makes it kinda hard for 80% of the builds to actually hurt him. |
