Don't worry.
Once they get back from christmas break they will start fixing bugs.
Then next league we will once again hear how they had not enough time to prepare new content.
If a lot of things can go wrong with core part of the game when can be a better time for such a big expansion if not just before a very long break?

Shitshow storms blocking the only exit/entrance to an encounter and spawning there at random to prevent you from ever completing said encounter? Working as intended. Much like him just hanging around in the air and firing a beam every now and then without ever coming down again.
