Influenced Items Help

As per the wiki:

"An Warlord's Exalted Orb, Hunter's Exalted Orb, Redeemer's Exalted Orb, or Crusader's Exalted Orb will add a modifier from their influence mod pool to the item. This does not affect the item's influence type."

If i use a hunter's exalted orb on an item giving it hunter's influence, can i then slam it with an exalted; and roll another hunter mod from a normal exalt?

I haven't used one of these orbs yet, but the wording provided indicates that using a hunter's orb will not give the item Hunter's Influence, but simply add a mod from the hunter's pool of mods.

If that's the case, then a subsequent normal exalted will not pull from the Hunter's pool of mods.

Because the item now has influence, influence mods are now available for regular exalts to hit.

neither do i, or i would have linked one. thats why i linked to the ggg trade page.

Interestingly, the GGG Conquerors page still has wording indicating that only the mod is applied. It would be nice if this stuff were updated if changes are made.

Once it has the influence (or two if you use awakened orb) you can scours, alt, regal, chaos spam, fossil, or whatever else you want.
