I tried this as well and uploaded a video to document what was happening:
https://youtu.be/__3RAxFkRaU All testing was done in hideout, but I suspect that loading into a new zone would reflect the correct values for what is currently equipped. I don't think this is a bug which impacts players once they zone but for testing purposes in town/hideout it could be misleading. | |

I haven't tested it but I hear you need to unsocket and resocket the int gems for it to work

Can confirm, spent a lot of currency crafting a +1 intelligence amulet and even if it is visually increasing the active blue gem's levels, it is not functioning in ptractice (for instance, not getting the 4th spectre at level 25 with it, but was getting it before with two +1 minion gems wands).
All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. |
