One of the recent patches messed up the way the armor looks. It's been fixed three times already, but usually a early leauge patch breaks it.
I pretty much only get to enjoy this armor for about a week until it turns back into this state. It's the only armor i use regularly, so i just happen to notice it a lot. In the current Metamorph leauge, the armor has changed its appearance to have the darker non reflective texture on it.  And here is how it usually looks  Maybe with the new Vulcan renderer i thought it would be fixed, but the results are the same.
