I wouldnt invest to heavily in hardcore. It's much more important to sustain your stash in hardcore because you will die and need to reroll. I have 20 watchstones, killed awakener 5(the fight is alot harder now). I also tried some 100% shaper and elder guardians, oh shit the maps are so insane, lol.
