Why the cant regen life/mana map mod is so much more common than the cant leech one?
Both do the same thing yet cant regen is one of the most common map mods and cant leech appears maybe once every 20 rolled maps.

Regen =/= Leech, not the same Johnny.
Can't regen is a harder mod for sure. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums. Last edited by DoubleU#7266 on Dec 24, 2019, 10:16:10 AM

You can't run maps with no leech if your build is leech based without any healing/mana pot because you don't need them and you are spamming every 5s your 5 potions to keep fully buffed.
But you can run no regen. Depend of your build if you leech or if you use potion and natural regeneration. And i guess there is more build with leech so it's a pretty rare mod Last edited by Clannad95#0030 on Dec 24, 2019, 10:49:15 AM

If Can't leech is the easier mod why is it also the rarest?

I run all maps including no regen. If you hit no regen just use a enduring mana flask

Most characters have some basic life/mana regen almost built right in, and it's more common because it challenges more players than simply no-leech.
Also, leech used to be much stronger as a mechanic, and has been nerfed considerably since say, 3.0. Vaal Pact used to be a MUST for a wide swath of melee builds. The mod was likely made uncommon because it absolutely hamstrung too many builds. Leech has fallen off in importance compared to other forms of sustain, as a result. But the map mod still remains uncommon. Perhaps another round of nerfs or a change in the mod frequency lies ahead. (Be careful what you wish for!) if mana is a problem, and it is for some of my builds under these conditions, use a flask, or invest in things like Battle Rouse which give you some mana back, + mana on hit or on block, etc. Most likely it will take a multipronged approach, since GGG has made it clear they don't want mana recovery to keep pace with mana costs without sacrificing defensive options or picking up blood magic. " I'm assuming you play a leech based character, because that is a 50/50 thing not a one can but one can't thing. You might have forgotten spell casters can't leech anymore, and need to rely on regen etc. no leech and no regen are equivalent in terms of difficulty broadly, individual builds will favor one or the other. |

That must be insanely rare, I didn't even know that was a mod.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.
