PoE requires +60 GB of disk space, minimum

GGG is there a lite version of the game available to install? For example, a version that omits the video files and hq audio files. I don't have +60 GB to dedicate for this game.

In the good old days, it was common practice for game developers to offer such options in their game installs.

That's a (ATTENTION!!) STEAM ISSUE

Install stand-alone client.
Use GGPK-defragmenter, you now have 19.5Gb game
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
I am sorry, but these days a 1TB drive costs basically nothing, if you can afford them fancy MTX, i am sure you can find a reasonably priced storage solution as well.
And besides, as the poster above me stated - that's a steam's issue and how it handles game updates.
No rest for the wicked.
Do you guys even know what it means to be a customer?

This is GGG's game on Steam platform. It's THEIR issue. Not just Steam.

GGG needs to fix this asap.
24gigs on my USB that I run off at work. Probably around the same size on my home PC.
GGG, this is a major pain. I don't have 31 GB free space to download the full-game "patch".

Please fix this or give users an alternative segmented patch download option !!!

already answered --> Steam problem.
Change to stand-alone client if you don't want these problems.
steam requires a little more from the game file and how it is set up, nothing GGG can do about that, steam requires double the space to patch teh game because of how steam handles patching.

None of those are GGG's problem.

Your custom starts and ends at getting MTX, can you get on to play the game? yes, then you can use your MTX and that is what you pay for...your custom ends there.
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

If that's the way you see things, that's too bad for you. Sad!
