Nessar, lion of the sea locked out of transtioning phases if frozen

As mentioned in the title you can lock the Reef map boss in one phase of the fight by freezing him continuously. Took me a few seconds to realize that his life was not going down anymore since he was supposed to do his "tide" phase with the siren summoning the storms. Especially annoying on totem build since I can't really prevent the totems to keep attacking and keep him frozen, effectively halting the fight until I can somehow resummon the totem far/fast enough so they don't attack or let them expire.
