It's probably a little late to clarify, but if you're still in doubt or in case others read the thread... On the Maim support gem, the description reads: "Supports attack skills, or other skills that can maim enemies." This means that maim from the maim support only applies to a gem if that gem can maim. Since Flesh and Stone can only maim while in blood stance, the maim from maim support only applies to blood stance. Think of Flesh and Stone as two gems in one: 1. Flesh (blood stance).
