Map tab

How long until the map tab is fixed on standard? Can't remove shaped maps, vendor only giving 1-2 different maps per tier above 5,(I'm guessing because of using an old T16 to unlock entire atlas yet the new system only goes to T5 initially). Why that would affect the vendor, I can only guess rushed programming.

Tonight was amazing! My friends and I all logged onto our standard characters, and loaded up a conga-line of high tier maps. With care and loving attention, we chiseled, crafted and corrupted our generous pile of parchment, dutifully collected over the past two-and-a-half years of casual play.

Sure, we're not the streamers Path-Of-Exile caters to, or leet-kiddies who deal damage in Shapers-per-second, but, with some diligence, frugal play - and a fair bit of patience - we managed to gather a respectable bounty, ready for a weekend of unrelenting joy and revelry.

So we started off with our beachheads, and what an experience! Xaylla made the first 100 we've managed since Legacy league! And we were rolling in the new currency shards, which we've always had precious few examples of.

After that, be launched into a challenging barrage of heavily modded and corrupt Shaper guardians... and despite the fact that we were dropping like flies, and easily lost every shred of experience we made, laughs were had all around. When Pheonix blew us all up with 1% life and no portals we cried until we laughed and laughed until we cried. Oh the memories!

We finished off the night by running the 12 shaper sets we put together. The fights... the music... it was such a reminder of how fun and epic PoE could be... and then a Starforge dropped! That was the first time any of us had seen something that valuable drop in our two years of casual play. Oh sure, it's no mirror, and many of the get-gud crowd will sneer at us old fogies and our "LOLCRAP" loot, but to us, that drop was pure gold - and the memors we had from getting it will outlast even the final PoE server in years to come.

What a perfect night!

Then... I opened my eyes... groggily, I swept the sleep from them... and winced in the painful morning sun. My wife, still asleep next to me, and my alarm howling, announcing that it's time to haul the kids to school.

Oh... drat... this fun night... it didn't happen at all... we could not do it... because all the maps we'd saved for all these years were gone...

"Well... that really takes the wind outta my sails" I mutter.

"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm trying to sleep here. Make sure Lily did her homework before you drop her off..." my darling wife said, as she buried her head in a pillow.

I sigh, stretch, and slog out of bed, imagining the fun that could have been. I then focus on the day-to-day chores of a filthy casual, preparing the kids for school and myself for work.

Once upon a time, there was a little map tab, and it lived inside a Guardian's stash. One day the guardian put all his maps into the tab, and then, it ate them, with a burp.

"Hey! Give those back ye fiendish cur!" Shouted the Guardian.

"Burrrrrrrrp" Belched the Map Tab. "A fool and his money are soon parted," the Map tab said with a smirk.

With a resigned sigh, the Guardian put his maps in a quad tab forever more.
