Problem With Dual Strike

Hello, everyone. I'm just looking for some clarification on Dual Strike and why it isn't working while dual wielding maces. I've used Dual Strike for quite a bit with either 2 axes, 2 swords, or a combo of each without issue, but when I try with 2 maces it's disabled. I have all required stats for everything, and none of my gear is disabled/in the red, so I'm just trying to figure this out since the skill only says it won't work with wands. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello there.
If nothing appears red, how exactly is it not working? I mean, is the skill missing in the skill bar, or do you have some kind of "i can't do that" type dialogue when trying to use it? PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A REPLY
