Is animated guardian treated as a Golem ?

Normally I would have bought a redblade ring and test but I am too lazy today :)

no... Golems are only those minions summoned with a Summon xxx Golem skill.

AG is your minion and receives all benefits you give minions. AG can equip gear and will himself receive the player mods of the gear (not minion). This means any auras the gear applies or on hit effects (curses, ailments, etc) will be active (as if you were wearing the item), but he cannot use skills and cannot trigger anything. AG is not a golem, so primordial offers him no benefit. All minions are allies but not party members.
