Using "Add a Prefix, Remove a Random Suffix" on the blood alter when the item has no free slots.

I have this staff with full prefix and suffix slots:
 I was wondering if the blood altar recipe will work on it, but I'm not sure I want to waste the beast only to find out nothing happens? Has anyone tried this? Last bumped on Dec 18, 2019, 12:57:20 PM
