When Does Shockwave Support Crit?

So dual strike gets a lot of crit chance bonuses when enemies are on full life. If i add shockwave, when does shockwave crit? Every time dual strike does? Or is it rolled independently?

Crit is normally rolled separately for each instance of skill use, so Shockwave would roll for itself when activated.

In general, I don't know whether supporting damage skills that have their own attacks can benefit from crit mods of the primary skill. I doubt it but would be interested to hear.

In this case, since those mods are based on full life, it would also depend on whether damage from the initial hit is applied before the Shockwave attack is rolled. I expect so, but someone else may have better info.
